Review
Minecraft certainly does not belong in the top 2, but it is fairly addicting. those who need time wasters while waiting on work, school, etc should buy it.
How to hack it
Hacking Minecraft is fairly simple, and there are two tools that work fairly well together with it, those two are Mineedit and Cheat Engine (version 5.5 or higher). There are 3 helpful ways to Hack minecraft, one is to add items to your inventory, two is to get infinite health, and three is to get infinite amounts of material needed.
Adding items
Adding items is fairly simple, all you have to do is open up Mineedit, load your map (level.dat in the world's folder) with it. now simply go to the "inventory" tab and click on an open space, next click on the area that says "Air" and type in the name of the material that you need. Now all you need to do is click "Apply to selected", Save, and load your map and the items will be there!
Infinite health
To get infinite health you will need to open up Cheat Engine, and click on the computer-looking icon, and find "javaw.exe" and load that. next you need to search "20" as a first search, and hurt yourself. (note, half a heart = one point, so if you have one and a half don't type "1.5", type "3".) Do a next scan, there should be a very little amount of entries. if theres only one, excellent. If you have more than one, hurt yourself again and find your new amount of health. next, double click the value with your health, and change the value of it in the bottom square back to "20", then click its box under "Active".
Infinite materials
Okay, so to get infinite materials its the same as getting infinite health, sorta. but if your still confused with that i will go over the steps in a list, and why a list? cause im tired.
1 Search for the value of the materials
2 spend 1 of that material
3 next search the new value
4 if theres more than 1 spend another of the material
5 double click the entry with your material's value
6 change the value to whatever, then click the "Active" box

Benefits of Underground homes
Underground homes cann be extremely useful, and if your quarrying for stone, you can make a gigantic complex and get alot of cobble/stone, plus if you play your cards right you can get tons of other resources. So if your server needs a public attraction and/or you need a gigantic amount of stone, Try making your home underground and make it a complex-style living place. It may need some retouching if you use it as a public attraction, though.
The fun of building
While Minecraft is mostly a survival game, building is also the fun way to go, especially with the all-new creative mode (Technically its not "All-new", just the same as classic but with the features of beta and infinite worlds.). The only limit is the sky (Partially literal). If you cant think of anything you can always just go on the forums. I'll eventually put a Link sending you to a forum post with huge amounts of building ideas.
Building custom maps and the mods you may need
If you can't think of anything anymore then it's time to go to the large-scales. gather up all the ideas you can find in the forums or from your earlier creations and get to work. There are several mods you can use to have a bit more fun with the experience. Risugami's modloader, so you can run them, Spawner GUI, so you can make custom dungeons and stuff, Elemental arrows so you can freeze, catch on fire, and make stuff explode, and the SMP Bukkit plugin, Voxel sniper, for terraforming fun-ness. It is highly recommended that you get a map editing tool if you want to create huge buildings, or atleast the world edit mod from single player commands.
